Learning Visits

To deepen your visit, the site offers a free audio-visual history of the Battle of Hill 70, available through the Apple Store and Google Play and  downloadable on any smart device. Walk the ground. Hear the story. Download the Hill 70 app and experience the Battle of Hill 70 through the voices of the soldiers, generals, and families who lived it. As you tour the memorial site, let the men and women of the Canadian Corps guide you through the momentous days of August 1917 — a victory that put Canada firmly on the path to nationhood.

The memorial park’s design — including the Monument, the Victoria Cross walkways, the regimental plazas, and the General Sir Arthur Currie Amphitheatre — supports guided interpretation, group visits, and quiet personal reflection. Whether you come with a guide or explore independently, Hill 70 offers a powerful experience of Canadian history in a place shaped by remembrance.
